Vinny has called Hawthorne home for 26 years, raising his family in the community he proudly serves. Shortly after moving here, he became an active volunteer firefighter with the Hawthorne Fire Department, responding to calls, training regularly, and serving on the front lines when his neighbors need help most.
For 35 years, he has built a respected career at BNY, known for his discipline, professionalism, and ability to manage complex challenges with accuracy and accountability. Colleagues consistently describe him as reliable, responsive, and deeply committed to doing the job the right way.
Vinny previously served on the Board of Fire Commissioners from 2016 to 2020, bringing hands-on firefighting experience and strong fiscal judgment to the district. He is ready once again to put that experience to work for the Hawthorne community he has spent decades protecting.
